ISA REGIONAL CONFERENCE, JAIPUR, RAJASTAN, INDIA 2010

The International Schools Association is committed to supporting and developing the quality of international education in our increasingly global world. India is one of the countries driving this global expansion and must therefore provide high quality international education to its people. In support of this effort the India International School in Jaipur, Rajastan, India, is holding a two-day Regional Conference on the theme

Advocating Improvisation/Inventiveness in our Schools (see the Brochure in PDF here)

Three or four selected experts will present their views on international education. The conference will take place on November 13 and 14, 2010 and participants will attend from all over India and include invitees from neighboring countries. More information below:

SEK INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL – SANTIAGO, CHILE

OCTOBER 11 – 16, 2010

The International Schools Association is committed to an ongoing effort to give students the opportunity to raise, discuss and bring to the attention of our communities the global issues which confront us today.

The SEK International School in Santiago, Chile is following up on the very successful ISA seminar in Costa Rica and again developing a theme related to the environment. This seminar will focus on the measures being applied in different countries to halt  the deterioration of our planet. Time will also be devoted to the role of schools and society in this regard.

Earthquake in Haiti

The International Schools Association is saddened by the tragedy which occurred in Haiti. We would like to encourage ISA schools, students and practitioners to consider contributing their time and/or resources to organizations currently working on the ground to alleviate the suffering of millions throughout the country. Several international organizations are listed below for your consideration:

The evening brought together leaders from the non-profit sector seeking opportunities in Asia Pacific.

ISA participates in the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the FIIG in Geneva. The FIIG founded in June 1929 is a Federation of International NGOs.On that occassion ISA has produced a series of posters highlighting the First article of the Universal Declaration of Human rights.
