The Seminar, to be held in San José, Costa Rica, will work on sustainable development issues, and on how protecting the environment is the way to protect our future. *Earth Focus*"Education for sustainable Development"
Participating students are required to prepare their own case studies on the given subject in their own country. The case study should focus on the various environmental issues, conservation, management, appropriate utilization, reforestation and different work on sustainability being done around the world. The Seminar itself will require the students to participate in lectures, debates and workshops. It will also include field trips and excursions to various places in San José and areas around it. Accommodation will be provided by SEK International School, in San José, Costa Rica’s capital city. The students will be taken to view different sites in and outside San José, especially those involved in nature conservation. Costa Rica is known world wide for its conservation policies. Almost 30% of its territory is National Parks and Conservations Areas.
