  1. Recent Humanitarian Relief Project: Flood Relief Support in Mahalaxmi Municipality, Ward No.
  2. Imadole, Lalitpur, Nepal 2024

In response to the recent flooding and landslides caused by continuous heavy rainfall over three days,  Swostishree Gurukul students organized a fundraiser and mobilized resources to support the affected  community, particularly the staff, students, and local residents of Shree Gambhir Samundra Setu Secondary  School, located in Imadole, Lalitpur. This community faced severe devastation, with homes and essential  infrastructure damaged or destroyed.

On the eve of Dashain( National Festival) , Swostishree Gurukul’s students distributed essential relief items to  approximately 75 individuals. These supplies included:

∙ Rice, Lentils, and Non-perishable Foods: To meet immediate food needs

∙ Clothing and Bedding: Including warm outfits and blankets for displaced individuals ∙ Snacks and Sweets: For festive spirit and as comfort for the affected

∙ Stationery and Learning Materials: To support continued education during recovery

This relief effort strengthened community ties and demonstrated the resilience and compassion of our  students, who worked closely with local leaders to coordinate aid efficiently and effectively.
