MOU Signing between Stockbridge American International School and the Philippine Eagle Foundation
The Stockbridge American International School and the Philippine Eagle Foundation forged a memorandum of understanding last July 4, 2022, at the Philippine Eagle Center at Malagos, Davao City, Philippines. This partnership will start the many activities that the two parties can create for the protection and conservation of the Philippine Eagles and the environment as a whole. This will also make the Stockbridge students more knowledgeable of the sustainable conservation efforts of the center and make them responsible wildlife explorers and educators.
Present during the signing were Mr. Dennis Salvador, Executive Director of the Philippine Eagle Foundation, Ms. Nicole Niňa Hao Bian-Ledesma, Chief Operating Officer of the JIB International Schools, and Mr. Walter B. Valencerina, School Principal of Stockbridge American International School.
During the signing, it was also the culmination of the first-ever Eco Summer School of Stockbridge. An outdoor exploration where students get immersed in nature’s sights, sounds, and colors with experiential learning activities. This summer program was participated by students ranging from 4 to 13 years old. Stockbridge, as an international school, is steadfast in its Core Values which hone students’ integrity, stewardship, and leadership in relation to environmental awareness.
